Refined and understated, this full-grain Italian vachetta leather case is designed for the iPhone 18 Pro Max, and made to age. The leather is vegetable-tanned in Tuscany with natural tannins, at a tannery rated Gold against the Leather Working Group Standard, the highest rating in the LWG audit. The colour is dyed through, running the full depth of the hide. With daily use it burnishes at the edges, deepens in tone, and takes on a soft sheen where your hand rests: a patina that is yours alone. No two age alike.
Burgundy is the deep, wine-dark red Apple chose for the iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone 18 Pro this year, the shade pre-launch leaks called dark cherry. Ours is dyed through the full hide in a tone made to match it, so the case reads as a continuation of the phone rather than a cover over it. It sits just as naturally on the Black and Silver models.
A precision-milled metal camera frame and a bespoke Camera Control Button sit flush against the leather, while a luxury microfibre lining shields your iPhone from micro-scratches. How It Ages
Vegetable-tanned vachetta develops a patina: a gradual deepening of colour and sheen unique to how you carry it. In the first weeks, the surface softens and the edges begin to burnish. Within a few months, the tone warms and darkens slightly where your hand rests. Over a year, the case develops the rich, glossy depth vegetable-tanned leather is prized for. The patina is not wear. Nice screen protector. Easy to apply. Only downside is that oleophobic coating and glare reduction is better on iPhone original screen. But, there is always compromises with these things, so that's ok, at least screen is protected. We'll see how long it lasts. And the good thing is that you get two, so you can change it when, and if something happens to the first one.

Coming from Apple leather case to this one, I must say the feeling is the same, maybe even slightly better. Fast shipping, it took maybe 7 days to Croatia. Presentation when opening the case from the box is 10/10. The only downside are the buttons, they are slightly protruding to my liking, other then that the whole experience was just 👌.
