The leather

Full-grain Italian Nappa leather with a semi-aniline finish. We say that a lot because it matters, and because most "leather" Samsung cases on the market are either PU (plastic pretending to be leather) or corrected-grain (real leather that's been sanded flat and re-stamped with a fake pattern). We don't use either.

Full-grain means the top layer of the hide is completely intact — that's where the strength and the natural grain live. Semi-aniline means a light protective coating sits over the dye, giving the surface resistance against moisture and everyday marks while keeping the real texture visible underneath. It's soft from the first day. Smooth in a way that synthetic materials can't replicate. And engineered to hold its look over time rather than deteriorate.

The hides come from an Italian tannery rated LWG Gold — the Leather Working Group's highest tier for environmental and labour practices. Water use, chemical management, energy, worker conditions — all audited. We've used this tannery since Casebellé started, and we've stayed because every batch comes back the same. Consistency at that level is rare, and it shows in the finished product.

Each case is hand-finished by artisans who understand that real quality is something you feel, not just see. The leather wraps edge to edge — back, sides, corners. No exposed plastic anywhere. No visible seams where you'd grip. Just leather, the whole way around.

What's inside the case

Leather is the surface. What's underneath is just as considered.

Precision-milled metal camera frame. The camera module on the S26 series is the most prominent thing on the back of the phone, and most cases treat it as an afterthought — a plastic ring, slightly misaligned, with visible mould lines. Ours is metal. Milled to sit level with the leather surface. On the Ultra, it integrates with the camera control button so you get full access without any compromise on the frame's fit.

Luxury microfibre lining. The inside of the case — the part touching your phone's glass back all day — is lined with soft-touch microfibre. It guards against the micro-scratches that hard-shell cases cause over time. Most people don't think about this until they take off a cheap case after six months and see the hairline marks on the glass. Ours prevents that.

Raised bezels. The screen and camera both sit behind raised edges, so when you put the phone face-down on a table or a desk, neither surface touches. It's not rugged protection — we're not marketing this as a drop-proof case, and it isn't one. But it keeps your screen and your camera lifted off flat surfaces, which is where most of the daily damage actually happens.

MagSafe on Samsung

This surprises people. MagSafe on a Galaxy?

Yes. Every Casebellé Samsung Galaxy S26 case has N52SH high-strength magnets built in — the same grade we use on our iPhone range. That means precise alignment with MagSafe chargers, car mounts and stands. Wireless charging works without removing the case. You just place the phone down and the magnets guide it to the right position.

For anyone who's switched from iPhone and misses the MagSafe ecosystem — the chargers, the stands, the car mounts — this is the bridge. The magnets are strong enough to hold on a dashboard mount over bumps and motorway speeds. They're precise enough to align a wireless charger on the first drop. And they make the Galaxy feel like it belongs in the same accessory world that Apple built.

One note: our Casebellé MagSafe leather wallets are not yet compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S26 cases. We're working on it. For now, the MagSafe integration covers chargers, stands and mounts.

The base Galaxy S26 is easy to overlook, and that's a mistake. Samsung pushed genuine upgrades down from the Ultra this year — better display, faster chip, improved camera — and the result is a phone that does 90% of what the Ultra does at a lower price point. It deserves a case that respects that.

The S26 Plus sits in the middle of the lineup — bigger screen than the base S26, not quite as large as the Ultra. It's the phone for people who want more real estate without committing to a 6.9-inch slab. A reasonable middle ground, and one that Samsung quietly sells a lot of.

Same Timeless Luxe build: full-grain Nappa, metal camera frame, MagSafe magnets, microfibre interior. The case is moulded specifically for the Plus chassis — different camera cutout dimensions, different button placement, different overall footprint. It's not a stretched S26 case. It's its own mould.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra leather cases

The Ultra is Samsung's flagship and — let's be honest — the one most people come here looking for. It's the phone with the best camera, the biggest screen and the most engineering packed into one chassis. It's also the hardest to hold without a case. That titanium frame is gorgeous, but it's slippery. Leather solves that without adding the bulk that a rugged case would.

Like the rest of the range, the Ultra comes in all three colourways — Racing Green, Cognac Brown and Obsidian Black. The metal camera frame on this model is the most complex in the range because the Ultra's camera module is larger and the camera control button needs to integrate cleanly. We spent more engineering time on this mould than the other two combined, and it shows. No lens rock on a desk. No gap for dust. The button clicks with the same resistance as the phone's own hardware.

If you're spending Ultra money on a phone, you should be spending accordingly on what wraps around it. Silicone on a £1,300 device is a strange choice when you stop and think about it.

Every Casebellé Samsung Galaxy S26 case can be personalised with custom embossing — up to 4 characters, pressed into the leather on the back of the case. Three options: gold foil, silver foil or blind emboss (no colour, just the impression of the letters pressed into the grain).

Blind emboss is the one we'd recommend if you're unsure. It's the most understated — you can feel the letters before you see them, and in certain light the impression catches just enough shadow to be visible. Quiet. Personal. The kind of detail only you'd notice unless someone was really looking.

Gold and silver are more visible and pair particularly well with darker leathers — the contrast against Obsidian Black or Racing Green is sharp. On lighter colourways like Cognac Brown, the foil sits warmer and blends more gently into the surface.

Initials are the obvious choice. But we've seen people do dates, lucky numbers, short words. Four characters is more than enough to make the case distinctly yours.

We put an unreasonable amount of thought into the box. Every Casebellé case arrives in a signature rigid box with branded tissue wrap and a soft velvet pouch inside. The pouch protects the case during shipping and doubles as storage if you ever swap between cases.

It's ready to gift as-is. No rewrapping needed. No plastic clam-shell packaging to wrestle open. Just a clean, considered presentation that feels like part of the product rather than something you throw away.

Leather care

The Timeless Luxe leather on the Samsung Galaxy S26 cases is designed to hold its finish — it won't develop a patina the way vegetable-tanned leather does. But a quarterly condition keeps the surface fed and prevents drying over the long term.

The Casebellé Leather Care Balm is vegetable oil and beeswax. Rub a small amount into the case with a soft cotton cloth, leave it for thirty minutes, buff off the excess. That's the whole routine. Skip it and nothing dramatic happens immediately — but after a year or two, the leather will feel drier and less supple than one that's been looked after. Small investment. Worth it.
