Casebellé Leather Case, iPhone Duo
Refined and understated, this full-grain Italian vachetta leather case is designed for the iPhone Duo, and made to age. The leather is vegetable-tanned in Tuscany with natural tannins, at a tannery that is a member of the Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata al Vegetale and certified against the Leather Working Group Standard. The colour is dyed through, running the full depth of the hide. With daily use it burnishes at the edges, deepens in tone, and takes on a soft sheen where your hand rests: a patina that is yours alone. No two age alike.
Built for the fold: the leather wraps both halves of your iPhone Duo and closes like a fine folio, protecting the inner display when shut. A precision-milled metal camera frame sits flush against the leather, while a luxury microfibre lining shields your iPhone from micro-scratches. MagSafe-ready with N52SH high-strength magnets, it aligns precisely with chargers, wallets, car mounts and stands. There is no need to remove the case to charge.

How It Ages
Vegetable-tanned vachetta develops a patina: a gradual deepening of colour and sheen unique to how you carry it. In the first weeks, the surface softens and the edges begin to burnish. Within a few months, the tone warms and darkens slightly where your hand rests. Over a year, the case develops the rich, glossy depth vegetable-tanned leather is prized for. The patina is not wear. It is the leather recording your use of it, and no two cases age alike.

The leather in every Casebellé case comes from tanneries certified against the Leather Working Group (LWG) Standard, the leading environmental certification for responsible leather manufacturing. LWG certification holds tanneries to rigorous limits on water and energy use and on potentially hazardous substances. Casebellé is a member of Leather Working Group, and 100% of our leather is purchased from LWG-certified manufacturers. Our Vintage Luxe vachetta is vegetable-tanned in Tuscany with natural tannins.

Casebellé vachetta is tanned in Tuscany and dyed through the full depth of the hide.

La coque en cuir casebelle est magnifique
Nice screen protector. Easy to apply. Only downside is that oleophobic coating and glare reduction is better on iPhone original screen. But, there is always compromises with these things, so that's ok, at least screen is protected. We'll see how long it lasts. And the good thing is that you get two, so you can change it when, and if something happens to the first one.

Coming from Apple leather case to this one, I must say the feeling is the same, maybe even slightly better. Fast shipping, it took maybe 7 days to Croatia. Presentation when opening the case from the box is 10/10. The only downside are the buttons, they are slightly protruding to my liking, other then that the whole experience was just 👌.

the leather has scuffed within days, it is a very dull grey rather than an interesting blue, and looks about 3 yrs old after less than two weeks. the packaging was Hermes level, the product is not. So disappointing

The quality of the leather is good…….but……the flap to keep the cover closed isn’t quite long enough to keep it closed when you have cards in the allocated slots. I have 4 cards in and the photo shows what happens. I am not sending it back because I have thrown my old cover away and will put up with it.
